A um ano atrás a Holos Brasil (holosbrasil.com ) fabricante do Dingue enviou ao comitê de regras uma cana de carbono para testes. Recebemos hoje a resposta!

Sorry to answer you after so long time but Antonio tested your carbon tiller during the winter when the possibilities of sailing are very poor.
The test was positive despite the time needed to adapt your tiller that was not perfectly round to a standard Persson rudder. The tiller is strong and stiff.
We considered the pros and versus to adopt carbon items in the snipe and our conclusion is that the notable increase of cost is not rewarded by the light weight and the stiffness so we decided to do not allow the use of carbon tillers in the snipe class.
